How the sound guides work

Colours connect related sounds. The strength of the fill reflects the rhyme match; slant rhymes are italic. Rapp analyses pronunciation and uses your corrections when you change how a word sounds.

Select a word and narrow the suggestions by rhyme type and syllable count. Copy a word you want to use, then keep working in the same draft.

Pronounce

If a pronunciation misses your delivery, type how you say the word. Rapp uses your saved correction in its sound analysis.

Link Rhyme

Connect a pair of sounds manually. Keep your saved choices in a personal rhyme bank for future writing.

Read it through

Organise sections and review syllable estimates as you write. In Performance mode, adjust the on-screen read-through pace with sections and adlibs in view.

About Rapp

What is Rapp?

Rapp is a lyric editor in development for iOS and Android. Filter rhyme suggestions by type and syllable count, change pronunciations and link rhymes manually in a personal rhyme bank. Its English phonetic tools and core writing work offline without an account.

How do I find a useful rhyme?

Select a word and choose Find Rhyme. Filter suggestions by rhyme type and syllable count, then copy a result to use in your draft. Pronounce changes how a word is read; Link Rhyme lets you connect sounds manually.

Does Rapp need an account or an internet connection?

Rapp’s songs are stored on your device. Core writing and sound tools work offline without an account. Downloads and external links need a connection. The website editor is a read-only sample.

Which language do the phonetic tools support?

Rapp’s pronunciation and rhyme analysis tools are built for English. You can type pronunciation corrections to match your delivery. Other-language analysis and perfect accent recognition are not promised.

Can I import lyrics or keep a backup?

Paste lyrics or import a .txt file. Export plain text or a .rapp song backup and keep a separate copy before changing phones or deleting the app. Check that a backup restores before relying on a transfer; automatic cloud recovery is outside the advertised release scope.

Does Performance mode record audio or play beats?

Performance mode provides an adjustable on-screen read-through with sections and adlibs in view. This release does not advertise audio recording, beat playback or generated songs.

Can I download Rapp yet?

Rapp is in development for iOS and Android and is not available to download yet. The core writing tools are free, with an optional one-time Supporter Colour Pack for custom interface colours. A release date has not been announced.
