1. About these terms
Rapp is published by Adam Brennan, trading as twonk. These terms cover its lyric editor, rhyme analysis, rhyme bank, backups, imports, exports and performance view. Contact rapp@twonk.uk with questions.
For app support or a complaint, email rapp@twonk.uk. See the Rapp privacy policy and support page.
2. The app is licensed, not sold
Rapp is licensed to you for personal, lawful use on devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app except where applicable law or an open-source licence gives you that right. Apple's App Store terms and Usage Rules apply to iOS downloads, and Google Play terms and applicable Android store rules apply to Android downloads.
3. Your lyrics and other content
You keep ownership of lyrics, notes, pronunciations and other material you enter. You are responsible for having the rights to use that material and for anything you export, publish or share. Do not use Rapp to store or distribute material that is unlawful, infringing, abusive or harmful.
4. Local storage and backups
Rapp is designed to store songs, settings and learned relationships locally on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and making backups. Deleting the app, losing the device, or losing a backup may permanently remove local content. Import and export files are your responsibility to protect.
5. Analysis is a creative aid
Rhyme, phonetic, syllable and performance suggestions are generated for creative assistance. They may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your intended use. Rapp does not promise that an analysis is correct, original, complete or fit for a particular artistic, commercial or professional purpose.
6. Availability and changes
Rapp is provided on an “as available” basis. Features, dictionaries, third-party services and compatibility may change, be interrupted or be removed. We may release updates, fix defects, or stop supporting an old version. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded in your place of residence.
7. External services and donations
Links such as Ko-fi lead to third-party services. They have their own terms, privacy notices, payment processing and refund rules. Donations are optional, do not unlock features, and are not a purchase of Rapp. Rapp does not control or guarantee the availability, security or content of an external service.
Optional colour pack
The Supporter Colour Pack is a one-time, non-consumable purchase for custom interface colours. Writing and analysis tools remain available without it. The store shows the price before purchase and handles payment and refund requests under its rules and your statutory rights. Use Restore purchases with the same store account to recover the pack. Apple and Google purchases are separate and do not transfer between stores.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use Rapp to violate law or another person's rights, interfere with the app or its supporting services, attempt unauthorised access, or introduce malware. We may restrict access to supporting services where reasonably necessary to protect users or the app.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rapp and its analysis are provided without promises of uninterrupted service, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profits, or content you create, export or share. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Governing law and contact
Rapp is published by twonk. Support: rapp@twonk.uk or https://twonk.uk/rapp/support/. Privacy enquiries: privacy@twonk.uk. Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply.
11. Updates to these terms
If these terms materially change, the updated terms will be shown here. Continuing to use Rapp after an update means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law.
